ABOUT ME

MEET THE BLOGGER

As-Salaamu alaikum. My name is Aisha Moallin.

I am a mother to three children, a wife and an educator. I’m living each day striving to worship, teach and parent in accordance to what pleases Allah.

In recent years, I have developed a great amount of passion for motherhood, parenting through Islamic lens and parent education. I enjoy wholesome, meaningful conversations that help me revive my iman and remember my “why” and purpose in life.

I enjoy spending time with my family, discovering new cafe spots and reading. Did I mention coffee? As a busy mother, a cup a day goes a long way alhamdulillah.

I hope you find my website insightful, inspiring and most importantly relatable. I believe in living our lives through ihsan, excelling in every aspect as best as we can with an abundant dua and tawakkul. I ask Allah to make my blogs and this website beneficial for myself and you and a reminder to live life with Ihsan.

  • About Ihsan
I’m always amazed and inspired by the companions, may Allah be pleased with them all. When a commandment came from Allah and His Messenger, they didn’t do the bare minimum. They strived (often even competed!) against one another towards Ihsan.
  • Motherhood
I live by this hadith. I am responsible for my children. Their akhlaaq, their education (both Islamic and secular). Therefore I view motherhood not only as a responsibility, but as worship which will InshaAllah earn me rewards!  This shift in mentality, this mindset, is profound. It has helped me when I felt overwhelmed, impatient, and burnt-out!
